Loose tea review

I have purchased this tea many times but was disappointed this time. The tea is not just loose “leaf” but a lot of “powdered” tea. This goes through the holes/mesh in the infuser and makes quite a pile in the cup.

Powdered tea, not leaf tea

The flavor is okay, but the fine grounds make brewing it hard. My tea strainers and brewing pot are not made to handle this. I was expecting tea leaf, not powder. I want to support US tea growers, so I will keep trying.

Tasty

The tea is smooth and rich. I am such a “chai” person so every other type of tea less than perfect. If you enjoy a rich tea the American is you cup of tea.
