Over 100 years ago, tea planters brought their finest ancestral tea bushes from China and India to Wadmalaw Island near the historic old city of Charleston, South Carolina. Now the direct descendants of these very plants have been lovingly restored to their former grandeur here at the Charleston Tea Garden, a lush subtropical tea farm. It is in this context of great natural beauty and colonial pride that we bring you American Classic Tea made from 100% grown at America's own tea garden

Love my Charleston Tea

I don't know what I would drink if Charleston Tea wasn't available.

American Classic Tea How rare and wonderful it is.

I love that this tea is made in America. The flavor of the black tea is straight forward and slightly astringent. I was disappointed that the web sight indicated that you are out of the variety pack. I think the pyramid bags helps with faster brewing however I am concerned about what the material is that they are made of. I have heard that some are plastic which can leach into the tea and that they are not compostable.

Grown in the USA

A wonderful full-flavored black tea. The tea bags are triangled 'silk-sacks' and not the thin paperish things- a vast improvement over store stuff. I visited the beautiful Charleston Tea Garden and took the tour Spring 2024. Delightful in the fullest Southern sense and style. One hundred percent recommend the visit, tour and most of all the TEA!!!

Love Love Love!

This is THE Best tea for delicious iced tea! I am an iced tea junkie and my husband and I visited the tea garden a couple of years ago.I tasted this with a little lemon and I was hooked! I order it constantly, I fear being out. It just has a clear, clean, and crisp taste. I don't write many reviews but this truly deserves it.
